Qualifications –
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 5+ years related experience in Real Estate Accounting
- Fiscal management experience
- Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, accounts receivables/payables and general ledger accounts
- Experience managing various financial projects
- Experience with Entrata preferred

The Director of Finance plays a critical role in overseeing the financial health and stability of the organization. This position involves managing financial operations, developing strategic financial plans, and providing leadership in financial decision-making to support the organization's objectives.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to provide insights into business performance
- Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, and make recommendations for improvement
- Lead the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable budgets
- Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, identifying areas for cost control and efficiency improvement
- Prepare financial forecasts and long-term financial plans to support decision-making
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Present financial information to senior management and the board of directors, providing insights and recommendations
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organization's financial stability
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing cash management, including investment decisions and financing options
- Monitor banking relationships and negotiate terms to minimize costs and maximize returns
- Identify and assess financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and controls to safeguard the organization's assets and reputation
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends affecting financial risk management
- Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Mentor and develop finance staff, providing opportunities for professional growth and skill development
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and communication to ensure alignment with organizational goals
