Qualifications –

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years related experience in Real Estate Accounting
  • Fiscal management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, accounts receivables/payables and general ledger accounts
  • Experience managing various financial projects
  • Experience with Entrata preferred

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives
  • Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to provide insights into business performance
  • Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Lead the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable budgets
  • Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, identifying areas for cost control and efficiency improvement
  • Prepare financial forecasts and long-term financial plans to support decision-making
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
  • Present financial information to senior management and the board of directors, providing insights and recommendations
  • Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organization's financial stability
  • Develop and implement strategies for optimizing cash management, including investment decisions and financing options
  • Monitor banking relationships and negotiate terms to minimize costs and maximize returns
  • Identify and assess financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and controls to safeguard the organization's assets and reputation
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends affecting financial risk management
  • Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Mentor and develop finance staff, providing opportunities for professional growth and skill development
