What we're looking for

We’re looking for a Weekend Maintenance Technician that is friendly, reliable, detail oriented, efficient and safety conscious to contribute to our team and be great co-workers. Shift hours are from 7am-7pm (Sat. Sun. Mon). $2500 year one hire on bonus opportunity, and take advantage of our profit-sharing program, a $10,000 forgivable housing loan and our ON-SITE HEALTH CLINIC. You can even get paid up to $1000 just for referring your friends!

JOB OBJECTIVE
To assist with and or to perform the maintenance on all equipment at this facility, to perform my job in a safe and timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties:

  • Perform work within OSHA requirements
  • Operate power tools, grinders, welders, drills, and saws
  • Work with alignment equipment and dial indicators, work with peer and supervisory groups
  • Lubricate and adjust equipment as required by manufacture
  • Perform preventative maintenance functions
  • Trouble shooting on equipment as needed
  • Perform equipment performance checks on scales, flow sensors
  • Perform safety checks on hoist, lifts, harnesses, ladders, rope cords and chains
  • Be able to work in other areas of the facility if needed
  • Perform work in a clean and sanitary manner
  • Fill out all company required maintenance documentation
  • Forklift Certification and Boom Lift Certification

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good attendance record
  • Machining experience on the mill and lathe
  • Self-motivated
  • Electrical knowledge
  • Willing to work well with others
  • Boiler license is beneficial
  • Firm grasp of manufacturing and quality process
  • 4+ years’ experience or a year associates degree
  • Good communication skills

PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONS

  • Lifting up to 80 pounds alone; 120lbs in a team
  • Continuous standing and walking
  • Continuous bending, stooping, carrying, lifting, pushing and pulling
  • Frequently climbing and reaching above shoulder level
  • Occasionally squatting
  • Working at times in a hot or cool environment
