We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Refrigeration Projects Director to lead our team of talented engineers and technicians in the successful execution of refrigeration projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of refrigeration systems, project management expertise, and strong leadership skills to drive excellence in project delivery.

Requirements:
  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including equipment, materials, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Oversee the execution of refrigeration projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the refrigeration projects team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    • Mentor and coach team members, promoting professional growth and development.
    • Encourage innovation and continuous improvement in project methodologies and practices.
    • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project performance.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
    • Cultivate strong client relationships, seeking opportunities for business growth and expansion through exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Apply advanced knowledge of refrigeration systems and technologies to solve complex engineering challenges and optimize project outcomes.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Financial Management:
    • Manage project budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasts, ensuring cost-effective project delivery and profitability.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising quality or safety standards.


Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, equipment, and components, as well as applicable regulations and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, EPA).
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in project management within the refrigeration industry, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient with spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software and ability to quickly become proficient in the use of internal and external proprietary software systems.
