What DeLeers Construction can offer you

The Painter position is an hourly (non-exempt) role. The starting rate is posted at $20.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on your experience level. If your experience level is above what is listed in our description the hourly rate can go up accordingly. In addition to the base rate, travel pay, daily per diem for overnight travel, and overnight accommodation as needed is included.

A day in the life of a Painter

A Painter will work with their Crew Lead or Superintendent to put work into place at both residential and commercial construction projects. Painters will apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes to buildings, building components, and other structures. DeLeers Construction's projects are one-of-a-kind and will require teamwork and an eye for detail to complete.

• Knowledge of the materials, methods, and tools involved with residential painting and finishing.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
• Must be able to travel out-of-town for various job projects and stay overnight when required.
• Hold or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver's license prior to employment.
• Walk, prolonged standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
• Use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently lift and/or move 25+ pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
