Warehouse and Distribution Specialist

Jack Flash is seeking a Warehouse & Distribution Specialist to execute its Warehouse & Distribution strategy across all store locations.

Jack Flash currently operates 18 locations that include convenience stores, truck stops, liquor stores, and car washes. ROLE SUMMARY

The Warehouse & Distribution Specialist is responsible for picking orders for all gift and novelty location as well as assisting with the inventory management of gift items and works closely with the warehouse team to manage logistics of incoming and out going merchandise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Day to day management of product and materials in and out of the warehouse for all divisions.
• Coordinate with all category managers to distribute products from all categories to stores.
• Communicate with Sales & Marketing Manager for Gifts & Novelties regarding reorders to the warehouse.
• Ability to pick up and deliver product from local vendors which requires a clean driving record.
• Maintain the warehouse price-tagging system where all items leaving the warehouse will be pre-tagged for each store.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years of retail merchandising experience OR an Associate's Degree from an accredited education institution in a business related field
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage time effectively
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial attitude
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to inventory management and product invoicing
• Ability to read and interpret sales reports, inventory ordering sheets, and other critical documents
• Physically able to lift and or move up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 8 hours per day
• Using equipment generally used in a warehouse environment.
