Specializing in carrot production, the company caters to both retail and food service operations and is renowned for its Bolthouse Farms brand, widely distributed in major retailers across the United States and Canada.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE

The Truck Driver is responsible for transporting Farming and Harvest product. The ideal candidate will operate Company fleet which consists of keeping them well maintained

    • Supervise and assist in the loading of vehicle following safe and environmentally sound practices
    • Will transport Harvest product and Equipment to various locations
    • Maintain company Total Process Reliability (TPR) log
    • Must report and record any unsafe conditions
    • Monitor equipment and assist in minor routine maintenance
    • Report and record any vehicular and equipment defects found during pre/post trip inspections
    • Will be driving primarily local and short haul work trips
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Keep work location and yard mules clean and in good working order.

    • Experience with Microsoft Office programs preferred: Access, Outlook, SharePoint and Word.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to apply common sense, understand and carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable hauling experience
  • Must have knowledge of D.O.T. rules and regulations
  • Must have safety quality when performing work

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED; six to nine months of related warehouse experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)
  • 1 year minimum hauling tractor and planter equipment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Occasionally must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Required to climb up and down stairs.
  • Ability and willingness to work in extreme weather conditions. (Heat, Cold, Wind, Dust)

HOURS & WORKDAYS:

  • 1st shift (6:00AM - 3:30PM) Monday through Sunday; rotating weekends off, when business requires overtime and weekends will be mandatory
