Location: Gastonia, NC
Shift: 7am-4pm Mon - Frid, Sat as needed
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00

**Job Summary**:
The Custom Crate Builder will be responsible for constructing and assembling custom wooden crates designed for secure shipping and storage of various products. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a range of tools and materials.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Construct custom crates and packaging solutions based on specific client requirements and product dimensions.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to accurately build to specifications.
- Select appropriate materials and hardware for crate construction, ensuring durability and protection.
- Collaborate with the design team to integrate custom features, such as shock-absorbing supports, moisture barriers, and tracking technology enclosures.
- Conduct inspections and maintenance on tools and equipment used in the crate-building process.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures during crate assembly and testing.
- Work with the logistics team to ensure crates are built within specified timelines and for ease of loading and unloading.

**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in woodworking, carpentry, or a similar role in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Familiarity with construction tools, including power saws, nail guns, and staple guns.
- Strong understanding of measurements and geometric principles.
- Excellent manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Commitment to quality and safety standards.
