We are searching for a charismatic, energetic, and passionate pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team and make a lasting impression on the lives of the children and families we serve.

Communication Corners and More, located in Luts, Florida and Wesley Chapel, Florida, is searching for a Contract-1099 Occupational Therapist (OT) looking to make a difference.

Location of Center(s):

2370 Bruce B Downs Boulevard, Wesley Chapel, FL, 33544 and 17718 Hunting Bow Circle, Lutz, FL, 33558

Occupational Therapist (OT) Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 8 am - 6:30 pm

WHO WE ARE

As an OT therapist, you will emphasize communication with families, caregivers, and other professionals who care for the child. Ongoing assessments and re-evaluations will measure the child's progress toward individual goals. Families and caregivers are encouraged to participate actively in the intervention process and are given strategies and exercises to use between visits to promote ongoing progress.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (OT)

As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will provide quality services to a full caseload of children from birth to 21 years old. As an OT, you will work with Kids with a broad spectrum of abilities. This would include setting up equipment, organizing paperwork, and organizing fun activities to help get the most out of your treatments. Along with completing the following daily tasks:

  • Reviewing Patient files and schedules
  • Evaluating New Patients
  • Creating and Revising Intervention plans
  • Preparing for patients' session
  • Treating patients in individual sessions
  • Collaborating with patients' families and other professionals
  • Attend weekly staff meetings with our Clinical Director which includes sharing of therapy resources and ideas
  • Using resource rooms with materials for evaluating and treating.
  • Utilizing point-of-service documentation to decrease paperwork time
