Preventative Maintenance Technician-Heavy Equipment

Objective

The Preventative Maintenance Technician travels to job sites daily performing all aspects of preventative maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment.

Essential Functions

• Drain and replace all types of fluids and filters, inspect fluid levels and top off as needed
• Determine necessary parts, materials, and tooling needed to perform PM assignments
• Follow steps outlined in maintenance manuals
• Perform and complete machine inspections and communicate any issues with the Fleet Manager
• Maintain the service vehicle keeping it neat and clean
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Wear all required PPE
• Follow all safety standards

Qualifications

• 3-5 Years experience working on diesel and heavy equipment.
• Must have clean driving record.
• Must be detail oriented with excellent time management skills.
• Must be able to work independently or with others in a team environment.
• Ability to read, analyzes and communicate technical information effectively.
