Automotive Oil Change Technician

Job Summary:
The Automotive Oil Change Technician position at Donley Ford Shelby is a full-time, hourly role in the auto industry. This individual contributor role will be responsible for performing basic maintenance services on vehicles, including lube, oil, and filter changes. The LOF Technician will work with a team of skilled technicians to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and vehicle performance.

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
-Perform lube, oil, and filter changes on vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
-Inspect and replace other fluid levels and filters, as needed
-Complete multi-point inspections and identify potential issues for further repair
-Communicate effectively with customers about recommended services and repairs
-Collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely and efficient service
-Keep work area clean and maintain necessary tools and equipment
-Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Requirements:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-1-2 years of experience in automotive service or related field
-ASE certification is preferred
-Proficient in basic automotive maintenance and repair tasks
-Ability to read and interpret vehicle diagnostic codes and repair manuals
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
-Valid driver's license and clean driving record
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
-Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed
