Job Brief:

The Electrical Foreman is a Electrician, preferably a licensed journeyman, with strong industrial and prior supervisory experience. The Foreman has a continuous focus on safety, cost control, and client satisfaction when performing their duties. The Foreman is expected to produce quality work with attention to detail to meet and exceed client needs.

NOTE: This position will cover Electrical Foreman responsiblities across our three PA locations (Troy, Tunkhannock, Wysox).

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervises lead hands and field employees.
  • Works with the customers to resolve issues with electrical installations.
  • Interprets and works from electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Plans and schedules work for lead hands and crew ensuring proper distribution and tasks, as well as all tools and material required to carry out the tasks are assigned.
  • Tracks and reports crews’ time and maintains progress reporting requirements.
  • Trains and evaluates employees and puts makes recommendations for growth/development, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
  • Participates/complies with company safety programs & company policies.
  • Other duties as required.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Electrician license required.
  • Completion of a 4-year accredited electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an oil and gas construction environment; Minimum 2 years’ experience in a lead/foreman role.
  • Valid Class D driver’s license.
  • Experience running small crews.
  • Experience redlining electrical, piping, and instrument drawings.
  • Able to put together a QAQC package.
  • First Aid/CPR w/ AED, OSHA 30, and Safeland, with preference for OSHA50.
