Responsibilities

The Lead HVAC Installer will be responsiblefor installing HVAC equipment, duct, and fittings and completing on orbelow the budgeted labor hours, as outlined by the Installation Manager. Maintainrequired levels of truck stock items. Advises Installation Manager at such time as theassigned project begins to fall behind the labor budget. Works with the InstallationManager, General Manager, and Home Solutions Advisor team on ideas for reducingthe cost of installation. Reports to site ready to work by 8:00 so projects are not heldup. Below are the essential job duties of this position:

  • Arrive at the station ready to work at 7:30 a.m.
  • Review the project daily with the lead or Installation Manager, and request tools,materials, or equipment needed for the next day by 2:00 p.m.
  • Complete paperwork daily, recording all hours and materials used on eachjob and turn it in to the Installation Manager.
  • Complete quality projects on or below budgeted labor hours, for companyinstallation standards.
  • Inform the Installation Manager by 9:00 or 3:00 of any stocking items orfabrication needed for the project.
  • Assist Warehouse Person or Fabricator if directed with stocking, pullingjobs, deliveries, or fabrication.
  • Keep the entire work area neat and organized and free of scrap and debris
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job requirements

  • Possession of an EPA 608 certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of a drug screening test.
  • Clean background check
  • Ideally, 6-10 years of relevant experience in the field
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
