Work with a Team of Installers to install and service alarm systems, cameras, access control systems, and other life safety systems in new and existing buildings in all types of construction.
The Commercial Security Team Technician will work Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm. Meet at DFW Security headquarters in the morning and travel with team to job site in Company provided vehicle.
The pay rate for this position ranges from $15.00 - $20.00 per hour based on skills and experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Running wire for individual devices
Mounting cameras
Terminating cat5 ends
Assisting Lead Installer with aerial lift direction
Ability to navigate CRM software system for important job details
Ability to operate iPad
Education and/or Experience
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; walk; use hands to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms, and/or climb a ladder; working with tools off scaffolds, ladders, working in confined spaces; frequently required to talk or hear. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Basic installation experience or education/training with alarm or security systems or other electrical systems preferred but not required.
