Golf Cart Staff Attendant

The golf cart attendant works closely with the Golf Course Manager on the outside golf operations to provide an exceptional service for members and their guests. Primary responsibility falls on service to members, assisting golfers with bags, cart cleanliness/upkeep, and maintaining the driving range. The Cart Attendant must have excellent listening skills and an eagerness to provide excellent service. Must be flexible in meeting the varying scheduling needs of the golf course. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work with minimal supervision and be able to perform a flexible range of tasks to provide
the best overall service possible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• One of the first staff members to greet and assist the members when they arrive to the
  course
• Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment including trash and debris in the parking
  lot and around the building
• Maintain the condition of golf carts with specific attention to their cleanliness and appearance
• Remain courteous and professional with patrons and co-workers at all times
• Refer all major problems/complaints to a manager
• Communicating the need for supplies necessary for day to day operations of their given areas
• Responsible for taking care and cleaning of the clubs
• Follow procedures for proper opening and closing of the cart and range operations
• Maintain order of player traffic

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Good work ethic, responsible, courteous, good communication skills, ability to lift up to 70 pounds,
  ability to work without close supervision, minimum age of 16, and valid driver's license.
• Must possess a positive attitude and a sense of pride and accomplishment with one's work.

Work Schedules

• Employees must have flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
