Mail Clerk

First Financial Credit Union (FFCU), a Southern Californian financial institution, is seeking a Facilities Specialist (Office Services Specialist) to join its team at its new operations center in Pasadena. This is an excellent opportunity for a goal-oriented individual looking for a full-time opportunity. If you enjoy helping others, have experience with facilities or maintenance work, and working knowledge of U.S. mail processing, this position may be the perfect fit to jump-start your career in the Financial Services industry. This is a 40-hour full-time position with a full schedule on Saturdays and the remaining hours during the workweek.

On a daily bases you will- -Pick up, sort, and distribute mail including delivery and logging of overnight courier packages; copying, scanning and all other document preparation activities -Maintain Credit Union facilities and equipment in a clean, safe, and orderly fashion -Coordinate, report, and implement emergency shut off and disaster recovery procedures -Perform janitorial services to maintain headquarters facilities, branch offices, outside patio and parking lots in a clean and safe condition, and ensure exterior lighting, sprinkler, and security systems are operational -Set up conference rooms, staff rooms, and special events as requested -Assist the Facilities Supervisor in the attainment of all Corporate and Department objectives. Well-qualified candidates will have:

• Working knowledge of U.S. postal regulations
• Ability to organize and prioritize daily job assignments
• Basic knowledge of office practices -Basic janitorial skills
• Effective Communication skills
• Pleasant and professional appearance
• Basic working knowledge of PC-based software: Windows, Word, Exce
• Valid current driver's license and auto insurance coverage.
• These requirements are typically met by any combination of experience and education that typically includes high school graduation and prior experience in mail service and/or facilities maintenance.

Minimum Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years of Facilities maintenance and building operations preferred.
• Must have a valid California driver's license, good driving record and legally required car insurance.
• Experience in using telephone, copiers, audio visual equipment, vehicle, security equipment, calculator, PC, mail machine, tracking software, cleaning equipment, construction tools.
