GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, production or non-production items and materials are distributed to various locations throughout the plant. Materials may consist of purchased parts, in-process parts, or finished golf cars and utility vehicles.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Moves parts or finished products and delivers mail packages to various department locations and/or warehouse locations.
• Operates material handling equipment such as tuggers, pallet jacks, and rolling carts or may move golf cars and utility vehicles to and from the yard.
• Maintains the required paperwork and documentation of all parts and materials moved in accordance with the specified procedures.
• Ensures work areas and other designated work areas are maintained in a safe and neat manner.
• Assists with the training and instruction of new employees who may be assigned to this area.
• Performs other related duties as required.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains a safe and productive work environment by ensuring the work area is clear of tools, brooms, debris, and other items that may present a hazard.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

• High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to read and write in English.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires occasional lifting of objects of objects 25 to 50 pounds.
• Work requires periodic stooping/bending and frequent walking/standing.
• Work involves activities that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, or vehicles.
