Responsibilities:
- Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
- Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed
- Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
- Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
- Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties
- Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
- Inspect paint jobs for quality
- Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
- Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on regular basis
