Position: Project Interior Designer
Location: Atlanta, GA

We Have:

Our client is an award-winning architecture and interior design firm headquartered in Atlanta, GA, with global project expertise!

They are looking for a talented and experienced Project Interior Designer with 8+ years of experience to join their growing team in Atlanta, Georgia. This position will perform in all facets of the design process, including preparation of presentations, schematic design, design development, contract documents, model building, rendering, and construction administration while adhering to budgets, timelines, schedules, and other project requirements.

You Have:

  • A degree in Interior Design from an accredited college or university
  • 8-10 years of experience in a professional environment, experience in workplace design, multi-family, or public assembly is preferred
  • Proficiency in Revit, CAD, Rhino, Photoshop, InDesign, Enscape, 3D modeling and rendering programs; experience in Revit is of particular importance
  • Knowledge of materials, project design, and preparation of construction documentation
  • Experience in all conventional aspects of interior design
  • Experience in all phases and aspects of a project
  • Required: NCIDQ Certification or working towards your NCIDQ Certification

You Will:

  • Develop concepts based on given criteria; use feedback to modify designs
  • Work collaboratively with other team members as to best approach
  • Work on high-level tasks and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously
  • Produce sets of production documents in both design development and construction documentation phases
  • Increase required technical and functional skills in related technologies, which may include Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, Spexx, and other 3D modeling and rendering programs
  • Act as a project manager for small and medium projects or teams
  • Develop relationships and interact with clients
  • Communicate with client agents, subcontractors, and consultants
  • Participate in professional development activities and initiatives, both inside and outside the firm
  • Build and maintain a network of connections within the industry; attend events central to the firm's strengths and goals
  • Mentor and develop team members
  • Any other duties as assigned
