Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate PRN Patient Transporter to join our healthcare team. The PRN Patient Transporter will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients to and from various locations within the healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Transport patients to and from the healthcare facility

- Ensure patient safety and comfort during transport

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff

- Maintain accurate records of patient transport activities

- Assist with patient transfers to and from beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport equipment and vehicles

- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in healthcare or patient transport preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to lift and move patients with assistance
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Clean driving record
