Job Summary:

Support PMA260 in its primary mission as responsible for the Naval Aviation Support Equipment (SE) Program and Department of Defense (DoD) Automatic Test System (ATS) with acquisition logistics and in-service logistics support services. Provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program management and logistics support services in acquisition and sustainment for the life cycle of the designated weapons system/system of systems, its sub-systems and support equipment for PMA260. 

Education and Experience:

  • MS or MA Degree in Engineering, or Science
  • At least 10 years' FTE experience in an engineering or logistics position, three (3) of which must be directly related to Naval systems.

Essential Duties:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of the Naval Aviation SE Program investment strategy and process oversight to insure optimization of support, development of SE requirements and SE standardization throughout Naval Aviation.
  • Manage the acquisition and life cycle support of fully developed, reliable, and supportable aviation Common Support Equipment (CSE) required to support the operation and maintenance of weapons, weapon systems, subsystems, and other support equipment. This includes the responsibility for CSE requirements planning, research and development, acquisition, funding, support, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Test and Evaluation (T&E) and sustainment.
  • Direct and coordinate program activities designed to provide sub-contractors, management, and customers with logistics technology that ensures effective and economical support concerned for manufacturing or servicing of products, systems, or equipment: Analyze contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes, and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life-cycle of product.
  • Design and implement models, databases, and tools aimed at standardizing data analysis.
  • Compile and write documentation of data structure and program development in the use of new systems.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge in the area of engineering or logistics expertise.
