Physical Therapy - Physical Therapist or Doctor of Physical Therapy

Hybrid Position with work in Effingham, Jasper, and Clay Counties

Responsibilities

  • Complete evaluations and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Supervise PTAs
  • Varied caseload including pediatrics age 3+ and adults


Requirements

  • Licensure requirements:
    • Current state of Illinois license
  • Possess the ability to:
    • Direct and coach caregivers and our multidisciplinary team members
    • Professionally communicate with team members (verbal and written).
    • Pass a background check
  • Physical Demands:
    • Ability to kneel, sit (on a chair or the floor) and stand moving easily and quickly from kneel to stand, sit to stand and stand to walk positions.
    • Ability to walk up to a mile in distance.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds easily with no assistance from others.
    • Ability to engage in and support physical activities initiated by children including but not limited to jumping, running, climbing, rolling, sitting/lying on the floor, swinging.
    • Ability to physically support students on indoor/outdoor therapeutic equipment


Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Knowledge and experience working with young children and their families
  • Experience working on a multidisciplinary team
  • Family-centered approach that includes fostering positive relationships and communication
