*** This is a Safety Sensitive Position under the Medicinal Marijuana Provisions of the State of Arkansas.***


PURPOSE

To verify the quality of the product that is produced during the manufacture of disposable food-service packaging.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform necessary audits in all operations departments

2. Coordinate with on-shift co-workers to best cover the necessary areas and priorities

3. Enter data into the various databases

4. Assist or perform various lab testing requirements and measurement studies as assigned by

Quality Supervisor.

5. Perform assigned sanitation inspection audits

6. Assist in on-the-job training for new auditors

7. Perform assigned MIL-STD 105E or RMA audits

8. Report and analyze critical information to operations to correct the quality issues in the various

departments.

9. Other duties as assigned by the Quality Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 1. Working knowledge of part defects and what to look for.

2. Must be honest, fair, and possess good work ethic.

3. Be able to lift, lower, or carry 50lbs.

4. Must be able to make quick decisions on whether to accept quality parts or reject those that do not meet standards.

5. Must be able to maintain the frequency of line audits set by manager and perform essential duties and responsibilities.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a laboratory or auditor environment is preferred. SPC trained or quality experience a plus.


LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and work instructions.


MATH ABILITY

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.


COMPUTER SKILLS

Ability to proficiently use a computer to send and receive email correspondence, enter audit data into SPC software and other systems, and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel, and Word

While performing the duties of this Job:


1. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.

2. Extreme heat (non-weather).

3. Exposure to high heat index during the summer months while in production area. Laboratory is climate controlled.

4. The noise level in the manufacturing environment is usually loud (examples: metal can manufacturing department, large earth-moving equipment). Noise level in laboratory has moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic).
