Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Select Care Generations in Macon, Georgia will play a vital role in providing quality care to patients. The CNA will work closely with other healthcare professionals to assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care. This is a full-time position and the individual will report to the Nursing Supervisor.

Compensation & Benefits: The CNA position at Select Care Generations offers an hourly wage of $12 to $14 per hour, paid biweekly. 

Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Collect and record patient information for medical records
- Provide comfort and companionship to patients
- Monitor patients for any changes in health status and report to healthcare team
- Assist with medication administration
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with patients in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic nursing procedures
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
