General Laborer

We are looking for a capable and reliable general laborer to join our team. You’ll take direction from the landfill management team to help keep the landfill in order, remove debris, assist team members, and perform any other general labor needed to get the job done right. You should be great at following instructions, with a can-do attitude. $16 - $17 hourly

A Laborer is responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties for DRD Landfill. The Employee will work on residential construction sites. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean up site
• Litter removal from the grounds of the Landfill
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Direct Traffic throughout the landfill
• Work overtime from the scheduled start time to the scheduled end time
• Take an active role in the improvement of safety and health in the workplace
• Participate in all required Company meetings, including weekly safety meetings
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to be self-directed as well as work in a team environment
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site to ensure that you and your team members are not injured
• Other duties as assigned

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred
• This work requires physical agility, solid hand-eye coordination, and a good sense of balance
• Must be able to take direction, work well independently and as part of a team for efficiency and productivity
