Job Summary
We are seeking a Machinist to join our team! As a Machinist, you will be working with a variety of manual milling machines, manual lathes and manufacturing equipment as needed and per drawing or job order specifications. You will also be setting and maintaining your equipment as needed, assisting other machinists with larger tasks, and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, previous experience in an industrial environment, and the ability to work well with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and maintain machine tools to produce and repair precision parts.
  • Machine variety of materials to drawing or order specifications, holding required tolerances.
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments.
  • Check final products for accuracy, and make adjustments to machines as needed to ensure the best final product.
  • Occasionally work on-site with customers for repairs and installations.
  • Occasionally work outside of scheduled shifts to meet deadlines (OT).

Qualifications
  • Strong background in operating manual lathes and milling machines.
  • Strong familiarity with precision tools.
  • The ability to read drawings or job orders and make minor adjustments as needed to fulfill requirements.
  • Excellent attention to safety and detail.
  • Good work ethic.
  • Valid Driver's License.
