Senior Civil Engineer PE - Land Development

We are on the lookout for a Senior Civil Engineer PE, with land development experience, to lead a venture into the Tampa, FL market. This position calls for a professional who is not only adept at civil engineering tasks both in the office and the field but also has a keen interest in spearheading land development projects. Our client aims to establish a significant presence in Tampa, the role is tailored for a leader capable of delivering outstanding results and driving market growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct professional and technical engineering operations.
  • Supervise the entire engineering design and review workflow to ensure standards and goals are met.
  • Spearhead the creation of plans for land development, ensuring both innovation and efficiency.
  • Maintain rigorous quality assurance protocols through detailed plan and document evaluations.
  • Provide insightful design recommendations aimed at enhancing project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the management of both commercial and residential development initiatives, ensuring successful project completion.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Experience in land development is required.
  • Proven technical mastery in engineering principles and practices relevant to land development.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2014/Civil 3D for generating plans related to water and wastewater systems, surface water management, drainage, roadways, and other land development projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with ICPR (Interconnected Pond Modeling) and adept at preparing construction and final site plans.
  • Must hold a current Professional Engineer license issued by the State of Florida.
  • A minimum of five years of experience specifically in land development projects is essential.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Candidates are required to be drug-free and must pass a drug screening test.
