We are seeking a Senior Staff Geotechnical Engineer to join our Irvine Team. This position is non-exempt.
Responsibilities:
- Perform subsurface investigations for residential, commercial and public work projects
- Review and summarize laboratory test data and report writing
- Perform field investigations using hollowstem auger and CPT rigs
- Perform engineering analyses for foundation designs, slope stability, and seismic hazards
- Review grading and foundation plans for conformance
- Perform or supervise field technician work
- Prepare design requirements, technical reports, and proposals
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check to be considered
