Maintenance Position
Penmac Staffing is seeking candidates for an Industrial Maintenance position with a local Springfield company. This is a Temp-to-Hire position, our client is looking for a full-time candidate. This company has been in business for 21 years and manufactures wood products.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hydraulics and electrical system maintenance on various equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on forklifts, including routine oil changes and inspections.
- Utilize basic welding skills when necessary for repairs or improvements.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in a timely manner to ensure minimal downtime.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to address maintenance needs effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hydraulics, electrical systems, and forklift preventative maintenance.
- Basic welding skills are highly desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Schedule:
- Standard Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
- Occasional Saturdays and night shifts may be required.
Compensation:
$25.00 per hour.
