Night Shift Maintenance Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Must follow all safety procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance as required by company SOP.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems of equipment.
• Must be able to inspect, dismantle and reassemble mechanical, hydraulic and electronic production equipment.
• Work from engineering drawings, rough sketches, manuals, verbal instructions, schematics, operating or repair manuals, blueprints or layout plans.
• Communicates daily with Process Technician to aide in resolving process and/or equipment problems.
• Must uses proper documentation and problem solving methods to find the solution to equipment problems and to effectively repair equipment and process problems.
• Perform Work Orders as assigned.
• May assist engineering with various projects.
• Assists production with machine set-up or mold changes as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists production with set-up as needed and help solve problems with equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Performs routine mold and tool changes as required and conduct machine calibrations.
• Must be able to inspect, dismantle and reassemble head tooling system, and related mechanical items.
• Must help maintain records of mold and tool changes.
• Complete all machine/job setup as directed by process books.
• Keep all head tooling clean and stored in proper place.
• Must follow all safety procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
• Assist maintenance Techs in daily maintenance operations.
• Must help maintains library of maintenance reference materials.
• Communicates daily with Process Tech, auditors, production and planning to aide in resolving scheduling problems.
• Perform work orders, including communication with initiator and record keeper.
• Maintain records of mold, tool changes and other changeovers.
