Job Description

The Town of Brewster is seeking qualified applicants for the position of a permanent 32-Week Maintenance Worker for the Sea Camps Property. Under the direction of the Sea Camps Property Manager, this position is responsible for providing routine custodial, grounds-keeping, and interior/exterior maintenance work in connection with the care and upkeep of the property and buildings.

Duties include, but are not limited to, cleaning of restrooms and disposal of trash. Prepare meeting rooms for meetings and events. Performs minor/basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs that do not require licenses. Assists with opening and closing procedures and performs safety checks of the buildings.  Assists the property manager in the maintenance of the pool.

High School diploma or equivalent required and 1 year of experience in property maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, certified pool operator license desirable. 

This is a full-time benefit eligible 40 hour a week, 32 week (typically late March to late November) permanent position, covered under the Town’s Personnel Bylaw agreement with a starting pay range of $23.44 - $25.61 per hour, starting pay dependent on qualifications and experience.
