Job Description
Iowa Trenchless is an underground construction contractor specializing in tunneling, auger-boring and pipe-jacking. We're seeking reliable people with strong work ethic and a great attitude to become a part of our construction business family.
Iowa Trenchless is currently hiring for the following positions:
- Entry-Level Laborers
- Skilled Laborers
Candidates will bring the following job skills / requirements to the position:
- Be a hard worker with a positive attitude
- Capable of heavy lifting and not afraid to get dirty
- Willingness to learn Equipment use and capabilities
- Learning skills such as rigging, welding, operating, and proper safety procedures
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to function well in a team environment - we work in teams of 4-6 people. Be able to lead or follow
- Self-starter; Able to manage workload and priorities; Work in a team or independently
- Experience in underground or heavy/highway construction preferred, but will train good candidates!
- A valid drivers license is required; A commercial drivers license (CDL) is preferred, however training available
- Background checks are required for some jobs requiring security clearances.
