Manufacturing Packaging Manager

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Oversees entire Packaging area, including Label room, Inspection, Warehouse and Plant Maintenance.
• Responsible for materials control functions, including receiving, packaging, and inventory control, materials storage and disbursement, shipping, and traffic control.
• Plans and establishes work schedules to meet delivery times and best utilize company productive capacity.
• Initiates work and purchase orders and follows up on work in progress to ensure conformance to schedule.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Ensure compliance to safety rules and all SOPs
• Manage personnel
• Prepare weekly components requirement for ordering.
• Prepare weekly packaging scheduling – incorporate rushes.
• Assignment and allocation of bulk received from Production and New York facility.
• Check finished goods inventory based on open sales orders.
• Prepare bulk requirements.
• Responsible for the supply of clean uniforms to all employees.
