Physical Therapist

We are looking for a passionate Physical Therapist and "wound enthusiast" to partner with our clinicians and provide a specialized wound healing to indicated wound care patients. Experience with wounds is a plus but not required.

Our PT will work with multiple facilities in the Bakersfield region with a significant case load of patients requiring this specialized treatment provided exclusively by our PTs. Training on this device and the associated treatment rendered will be provided by our team and each PT will be certified as part of our training and onboarding process.

Our PTs are compensated per evaluation and per treatment and depending on case load per building can expect to earn $75-$100 an hour including any associated travel time. Ability to create trust and foster relationships with facility staff is a must.

We have five partnered facilities in this region, each will average 2-8 patients.

• Approximately (15) patients x (3) treatments per week = Approximately (45) encounters per week = $2250 per week for approximately 15-30 hours of treating/driving/documentation.
• Applicants must be able to commit to at least 3 days per week and an average of 5-8 hours per day. Please be aware there is a PTAN process but we will guide you every step of the way.

Wound Healing Care Specialist Inc. and our Physicians MDs/DOs, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners provides weekly bedside wound rounds with our partnered skilled nursing facilities' treatment nurses to evaluate and manage all acute and chronic wounds, surgical wounds and dermatologic wounds, change dressings, perform medically necessary debridement, replace or remove G-Tubes, and establish plans of care.
