General Laborer

We are hiring Foundry Worker to work at a top rated foundry in NW Grand Rapids! They are a leader in iron casting and are looking to add to their team. Shift: 3rd

Pay: $17 an hour with rapid raises based off of performance!

Job description for General Laborers:

• General laborers will be using grinders and chippers to grind excess metal off of the castings
• Pack sand around molds to ensure proper formation of castings
• Coat Styrofoam molds to get them ready for the casting process
• Assemble Styrofoam molds per requirements
• Work in the shakeout department cleaning up finished castings and reclaiming molding sand

Requirements for General Laborers:

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 100lbs as needed
• Availability for overtime
• Best suited for this type of work would be those that enjoy more physical jobs.
• Ability to work in a team setting
