Setup Technician

A Setup Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes within a factory. They are responsible for assembling, maintaining, and adjusting equipment and machinery to meet production standards for productivity and quality.

Responsibilities:

As a Setup Technician, your primary duties include:

1. Setting Up Machinery:
   • Positioning machine parts and loading materials.
   • Identify, adjust, and replace tooling.
2. Monitoring Manufacturing Processes:
   • Overseeing one or more stages of production while equipment is running.
   • Assessing product quality and identifying any defects.
3. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
   • Addressing machinery problems as they arise.
   • Performing basic repairs to keep equipment operational.
4. Regular Inspections and Maintenance:
   • Inspecting and cleaning machinery regularly.
   • Updating maintenance logs with relevant information.
5. Physical Requirement:
   • Can lift up to 40lbs.
6. Safety Compliance:
   • Following health and safety rules to minimize workplace risks.

Qualifications:
