About the Role:

Cognizant is seeking Openlink Findur Lead Techno Functional Product Consultant to join its Center of Excellence.

 

ROLE: Openlink Findur Lead Techno Functional Product Consultant

Location: The candidate will need to work from the Client’s location in Dallas TX or Detroit MI in Hybrid model (3 days from office and 2 day’s work from home)

 

Key Skills: 

 

Requires good knowledge and experience on Openlink Findur, Equity, Fixed Income and Derivatives, Regulatory Reporting, AVS/OpenJVS, OpenComponents.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

·       Work with the team or independently to translate business requirements into technical specifications and perform development/configuration tasks to deliver solutions

·       Work independently or in a team, to design, code, test, document and debug programs of high complexity Perform code reviews

·       Work with Client to understand the requirements to deliver high-quality solutions

·       Support Live systems

 

Detailed Job Description:

 

·       10+ years of technical and Functional experience in OpenLink Findur.

·       Should have working experience in Findur projects with end to end trade lifecycle process

·       Should have strong functional knowledge in the areas of Financial Trading and Risk Management (ETRM/FTRM) including financial derivatives like futures, forwards, options and swaps.

·       Should have in depth working knowledge on Equity, Fixed Income and Derivatives like Swaptions, FX, Options, Bonds, LoanDep, Structured etc.

·       Should have good understanding on Regulatory Reporting - Dodd Frank, MIFID , Regis-TR etc

·       Should have experience in requirements gathering, functional design, scoping and planning.

·       Should have design and development experience with strong knowledge on various Openlink Findur modules like Managers, Configurations, Deal setup, Connex framework, Reporting.

·       Should have strong experience in modelling standard deal types like futures, swaps, FX, physicals, financials etc.

·       Clear understanding of Front-office, middle-office, Back-office processes

·       Formal development background. Object-oriented design experience.

·       Strong expertise in AVS/OpenJVS mandatory. OpenComponents experience is a plus

·       Understands the key classes and functions/APIs of AVS/OpenJVS related to DB data extraction, data manipulation, simulations, Operations services, in memory transaction creation and retrieval, commodity-specific APIs.

·       Write complex queries involving multiple tables, self joins, inner and outer joins, inner queries, group by functions etc.

·       Write advanced plugins for extracting data from the database, custom simulations, operations scripts, manipulation of instruments and transactions in memory and inserting them in the database.

·       Good oral and written communication with the ability to communicate clearly with the business users

·       Strong verbal, and presentation skills

·       Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detailed oriented environment

·       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, Provide optimal business system solutions from both a business and an IT perspective

Salary and Other Compensation:

 

The annual salary for this position depends on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
