  • Salary: $70,000 - 85,000/yr.
  • Schedule: 7am - 4pm, Monday - Friday

Senior Buyer responsibilities include:

Provide needed materials for the success of the overall Scheduling and Supply Chain processes. Responsible for delivering materials to meet inventory demand, sales forecasts, engineering orders, and company initiatives. Use system information to determine material requirements by due dates, production schedule, and inventory levels to ensure highest customer satisfaction metrics for on-time deliveries. Responsible for establishing methods to improve material sourcing, material movement, and meeting inventory goals.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of previous purchasing experience in a manufacturing, machining, and assembly environment.
  • Experience in a high technology electronic company supported by a precision machine shop preferred.
  • Must be familiar with MRP/ERP systems and how to use them to schedule and plan a business
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Work well with a diverse team of individuals
