About this job

As an Associate Recruiter, you will play an integral role in the recruiting and hiring process for our sales organization. The Associate Recruiter will be candidate-facing and support our internal recruiting team by sourcing, phone screening, and submitting qualified candidates for our open sales positions. In this role, you will have exposure to all US Laundry regions and locations, preparing you to take on a full cycle recruiting role in the future. Other responsibilities may include light interview coordination and working on projects or initiatives as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Works closely with the Talent Acquisition Team, including the Talent Acquisition Manager, Supervisor, and Recruiters on high-priority locations to attract talent by sourcing, screening, and executing strategic recruiting strategies.
  • Supports Regional Recruiters by handling overflow of phone screens and/or providing short-term coverage in the regional recruiter's absence (i.e., vacation or sick time). With this, will gain exposure to leadership and hiring teams.
  • Presents written candidate submittals to dedicated Regional Recruiters to present to the hiring team.
  • Provide a white-glove candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Collaborates with Regional Recruiter to help manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) by updating candidates' statuses as well as creating requisitions and maintaining job postings. This practice is in line with the company policy of using the ATS.
  • Develop a pipeline of talent, specifically for frequently filled positions in high-priority locations.
  • Effectively use tools such as search engines, job boards, the ATS, and social media channels to look for and engage with potential candidates.
  • Utilizes tools to provide market insights and assist with strategic sourcing efforts.
  • Works with internal Recruiters on college recruiting efforts and supports the creation and management of needed materials.
  • When needed, manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with the hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
  • Assists in making sure materials are up to date by partnering with the Sales TA Manager and Supervisor.
  • Communicate important employment information during delivery or employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, non-compete agreements).

Qualifications

Experience
  • Minimum of one year experience in a professional setting working on a team. Prior experience in Talent Acquisition is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of six months of consistently meeting and or exceeding weekly and monthly goals.
  • Ability to work within the gray and prioritize quickly as business needs shift.
  • Demonstrated experience providing a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) as well as the ability to work with a high level of diplomacy and confidentiality.
  • Proficient with MS Office and can pick up new technology quickly.
  • Prior experience or knowledge utilizing an Applicant Tracking System is preferred (Taleo is a bonus).

Education
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
