Come grow with us! General Purpose and Scope of Position:The Credit Specialist will take responsibility for reviewing applications, credit requests, account setup, account modifications, reporting duties, as well as maintenance of credit account documentation. The ideal candidate will positively contribute to the Credit and Financing group as well as demonstrate Wilbur-Ellis Company’s core values by honoring integrity, diversity, effort, accountability, and service, to customers and others. Key Skills and Abilities Include:Associate degree or other equivalent experience required 2-4 years of administrative, specialist, or relevant experience, is required; credit or financing experience, preferredProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) JD Edwards system experience preferred Key Personal Attributes Include:Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasksStrong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.Excellent oral and written skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:Process account applications or credit applications promptlyReview new accounts and changes to existing accounts within assigned delegated authoritySet up new customers and maintain customer recordsCompose professional written communication, such as letters and emailsProvide support to customers and employees to promote Sales Finance ProgramsSupport customers and employees transition into use of the Customer Online Account PortalPrepare, file, and maintain documents, including crop liens, UCC filings, et.Pull credit bureau reports and/or other trade credit reportsRespond promptly and professionally to all credit reference requestsAnswer and respond to telephone and email questionsLead or assist on projects as assignedManage electronic document storage and organizationPerform additional duties as assigned  Compensation and Benefits:In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $27.40 - $34.28 per hour. Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience.?This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, 401K, and other benefits. Drug-free workplace.    COMPANY CULTUREWilbur-Ellis is a company you can be proud to call your employerWilbur-Ellis markets and distributes agricultural products, animal feed specialty chemicals, and food ingredients.
