Plant Operations Manager

Summary: Hiring an experienced Plant Operations Manager with a strong background in aerospace manufacturing and lean manufacturing principles.

Job Requirements:

• Proficient technical knowledge related to the field of manufacturing.

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing.

• Minimum education of high school or GED; Bachelors degree preferred.

• Seven or more years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products, document control systems, and databases.

Preferred Skills:

• Training and experience in leading kaizen events.

• Six Sigma training is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and provide direction for efficient, uniform operation that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

• Develop and implement plans to increase reliability and improve quality and efficiency of products/services provided.

• Regularly communicate with other departments, shifts, logistics, department DE, and production management on needs, priorities, issues.

• Schedule and organize daily production shifts to optimize performance and margin.

• Implement Continuous Improvement and Lean tools to reduce work environment variation.

• Develop standard work processes. Review work instructions with the goal of standardization.

• Coach, mentor, develop team to investigate root cause for scrap/RMA issues; collaborate with site team including engineering/quality for corrective actions/prevent recurrence.

 

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
