Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - School Setting

Contract Duration: ASAP - May 22, 2024

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Student Profile: 7th Grade Student with Autism

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time position at a school in [City/County], GA. The RBT will be working with a 7th grade student diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, providing one-on-one behavioral support and implementing behavior intervention plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or behavior specialist.
  • Provide one-on-one support to the student throughout the school day.
  • Collect data on student behavior and progress towards goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistency in interventions.
  • Assist in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans.

Requirements:

  • Current RBT certification.
  • Experience working with children or adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Ability to handle and manage aggressive behaviors.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special needs.
