Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Student Profile: 7th Grade Student with Autism
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time position at a school in [City/County], GA. The RBT will be working with a 7th grade student diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, providing one-on-one behavioral support and implementing behavior intervention plans.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or behavior specialist.
- Provide one-on-one support to the student throughout the school day.
- Collect data on student behavior and progress towards goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistency in interventions.
- Assist in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans.
Requirements:
- Current RBT certification.
- Experience working with children or adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Ability to handle and manage aggressive behaviors.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special needs.
