Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists (Clinical Fellows and ASHA-certified clinician) who want to live and work in the greater Houston area! Soliant is working with a school near LIberty, TX, and we are seeking contract applicants for the next school year.

We are currently seeking candidates for elementary or middle school caseloads. Applicants must be willing to cover multiple locations, as student referrals throughout the year will entail covering additional locations.

Duties include:

  • Assessing students forpossible speech and language needs.
  • Providingindividual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Developing individualized education plans and presenting them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
  • Consulting with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintaining accurate records for all students on the caseload.
  • Providingreports of a students progress to parents.
  • Organizingstudent caseload and developing a schedule for each assigned school.
  • Developing resource materials for use in speech and language development.

We seek candidates with the following skills and attributes:

  • Excellent munication
  • Solid organization
  • Up-to-date knowledge of TexasSpecial Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings
  • Professionalism and accountability

Requirements:

  • Texas SLP license
