Part Time Interpreter/Translator

Summary: Looking for a Part-Time Interpreter/Translator specialized in Japanese and English for remote simultaneous interpretation and occasional translation tasks.

Job Requirements:

• 4-year college degree with a few years of experience or at least 5 years of interpretation experience if no college degree.

• Experience in Japanese/English simultaneous interpretation (both directions: Japanese to English and English to Japanese).

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to work irregular evening-shift hours, approximately 4 to 5 hours/day, from 5:00 to 10:00 PM except Fridays.

• Capable of supporting occasional morning meetings.

• Proficiency in both Japanese and English, ensuring smooth and easy understanding.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate simultaneous interpretation remotely for meetings.

• Translate documents accurately and quickly when necessary.

• Adapt working hours according to meeting schedules while trying to maintain approximately 20 hours per week.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $42.00 per hour
