Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Director of Housekeeping. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the housekeeping department to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000/ year (DOE), plus 10% annual bonus potential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all areas of the facility
  • Manage a team of housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance
  • Develop and manage budgets for the housekeeping department, including supplies, equipment, and staffing
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations
  • Oversee inventory management for housekeeping supplies and equipment
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that housekeeping services meet the needs of the facility
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the quality of housekeeping services and address any issues that arise

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and achieve financial goals
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and housekeeping management software
