Millennium Staffing is immediately hiring for Forklift Operators in Memphis, TN, for a well-known company.
Pay varies and can be discussed during the interview: $16.50 - $17.50/Hour as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).
1st shift - please inquire about shift times
Job Responsibilities:
- Following basic order picking/forklift operation protocol, daily work structure and safety guidelines
- Lock out / tag out unsafe or inoperable equipment
- Load, unload, and place product in proper storage bay stacked straight and neat
- Verify counts of incoming product, make necessary adjustments on paperwork, and initial any changes
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are free of damage and document or report immediately to the supervisor
- Sign and date the paperwork when load is finished
- Accurately input information as trained with a scanner, documenting all functions performed
- Ship accurate number of pieces per load worksheet
- Assist with inventory counts and proper stock rotation
This position will require candidates to be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
