Welder/Fabricator – Rock Falls, IL
Our customer in Rock Falls, Illinois is a large manufacturer seeking talented individuals who are skilled at fabricating metal components. As a Welder / Fabricator, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, determining material measurements, and using a MIG welder to fabricate steel parts.
Responsibilities of the Welder/Fabricator:
- Fabricating and manufacturing metal parts for later assembly.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints to ensure exact specifications of output.
- Producing strong, clean welds that meet quality standards.
- Testing output to ensure strength and tolerance of welds.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributing to a positive work environment by following continuous improvement processes and lean manufacturing standards.
Welder/Fabricator Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in an industrial manufacturing setting.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Solid understanding of metal fabrication concepts and processes.
- Minimum of 1-year welding experience preferred.
Pay for Welder/Fabricator: $18-$21/hour
