Job Title: Long-Term Substitute Teacher

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Long-Term Substitute Teacher to join our team. The substitute teacher will be responsible for providing instruction and maintaining a positive learning environment for students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This is a long-term position with a daily rate of $125, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction based on lesson plans provided by the absent classroom teacher, ensuring continuity of learning for students.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Provide feedback on student progress and communicate with school staff and parents/guardians as needed.
• Follow school policies and procedures, including attendance tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall academic and social-emotional development of students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field required.
• Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching permit preferred.
• Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience is an asset.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage students in learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a variety of classroom settings and grade levels.
• Dedication to supporting student success and fostering a positive learning environment.

Additional Information:

• This is a long-term substitute position with a daily rate of $125.
