Job Title: General Production Team Member

Reports To: Production Supervisor

Schedule: Mon-Thurs 6am-4:30pm

Fridays 6am-4:30pm as needed

NO NIGHTS/WEEKENDS

9 Paid Holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Floating Day-Redeem in your birthday month)

Summary:

Cut and organize lumber, OSB & EPS foam, for each job as requested. Build posts, headers, and special panels. Be able to build structural insulated panels (SIPs) from start to finish.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Other duties may be assigned including cross-training and/or working in other departments.

  • Move material for all areas of production.
  • Know different dimensions of lumber.
  • Pre-stage all lumber and foam by project number.
  • Set up and run nail guns, staplers, and saws.
  • Read prints and finish panels according to the prints.
  • Notify department lead or supervisor when supplies are low.
  • Inventory of all lumber and know where it is located.
  • Efficient use of material.
  • Visually inspect material to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Housekeeping at end of shift.
  • Assist in other areas as requested.

Job Qualifications:

Education and /or Experience: High School diploma or GED; previous construction experience is preferred.

Skills: Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16” and read blueprints. Good organizational and communication skills. Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs.
