TOMRA North America, a top International Reverse Vending and Recycling Company. is looking to fill a Driver Helper position in Augusta, Maine.The Driver Helper will assist CDL-A and CLB-B tractor trailer drivers with their daily routes shuttling trailers to and from recycling centers, commercial accounts, and from plant to plant. The Driver Helper will be responsible for assisting the loading of the trailer or box truck while on routes and counting product.

$17.50/HR

Job Description

·Ride and assist drivers shuttle trailers, load route trailers or box trucks to meet business objectives

·Learn how to ensure that Tractor Trailer and box trucks are inspected and safe before transporting onto public and private roadways. Perform inspections with assistance of drivers

·Ensures (Safe) proper attachment of tractor to trailer, load securement

·Assists with the completion of all daily driver paperwork and reporting per DOT and company requirements

· Provides superior customer service as a representative of TOMRA to both internal and external customers

· Assists in truck or trailer house keeping

Qualifications

· Ability lift 25-50lbs.

· Knowledgeable on how to use handheld devices like smart phones or other similar devices, or ability to learn these skills

· Experience in client relations
