Material Handler, $21.35/hr, Wixom, MI
Are you looking for a new opportunity? Do you have experience working as a material handler in a manufacturing setting? Do you know how to drive a forklift? If so, this is the position for you!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- .Operate forklift around facility
- Supply production lines with the appropriate materials.
- Safely stacking/placing raw materials and finished goods in their designated area(s) in an organized manner that does not create hazards for other personnel and facilitates efficient inventorying and inventory control.
- Verifying that the pallet tags on finished goods accurately reflect the product on the pallet(s) when putting pallet(s) away in warehouse and prior to shipment.
Qualifications:
- Forklift experience is required, training will be provided
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Must be motivated and willing to learn new tasks
- Able to work in a fast-paced work setting
In this position, the Material Handler will be responsible for safely stacking and placing materials and finished goods in their designated areas. The Material Handler works to keep the production area safe, clean, and clutter free. This position is going from 6:30am-3pm M-F with some OT depending on workload. This is a temporary to hire opportunity!
